I-70 reopens after rockslide

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (KREX) — Eastbound I-70 reopened on Thursday following a rockslide in Glenwood Canyon.

Colorado Department of Transportation officials closed I-70 on Thursday after several large rocks rolled into the westbound lane in Glenwood Canyon. The rockslide happened between the Grizzly Creek and Hanging Lake exits at around 10 a.m.

CDOT crews moved the rocks using prepositioned equipment.
