70% of Lithuanians see Russia as a threat - poll

Seven of ten Lithuanians believe that Russia poses a real threat to Lithuania's national security, LRT reported, based on the commissioned survey.

The survey interviewed 1,115 adult residents of Lithuania, with a margin of error not exceeding 2.9%.

Respondents were asked whether they thought Russia posed a real threat to Lithuania's national security.

29% answered that it poses a threat, 41% said it is more likely, about a quarter of respondents said they do not consider Russia a threat and 19% did not express an opinion or declined to answer.
