I-70 closed due to treacherous driving conditions

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Interstate Highway 70 is currently closed in both directions due to adverse weather conditions and crashes.

Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) officials say several jackknifed semi-trucks — many without chains — have led to numerous highway closures; officials urge motorists to ensure their vehicles are equipped for the current weather conditions if they must travel.
