60-year-old man hospitalized after being attacked by swarm of bees

A 60-year-old man was hospitalized Friday after being stung multiple times by a swarm of bees in the area of Roosevelt and 32nd Streets.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and moved the man to a safe distance while attempting to control the swarm of bees, according to the Phoenix Fire Department,

The man sustained an unknown number of stings, the Phoenix Fire Department said. His condition was unknown.

No firefighters were reported to be injured after responding to the scene.
