Has 2017 not been going your way so far? Well, you’re in luck! March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day, and you may be able to grab some of that luck-of-the-Irish. Before you head out to a parade or a bar, check out these six things you can do to make sure today is your lucky day.
1. Spill The Wine
While spilling salt can be seen as a bad omen, spilling wine could bring you good vibes. Now, you shouldn’t go around purposely spilling wine but if some happens to spill on your outfit or a table cloth, that’s even better luck. And if you’re really superstitious, make sure to dab a little bit of the wine behind your ears.
2. Get A Goldfish
Keeping a goldfish in your house has been known to bring positivity. But if you’re really looking for good luck, keep eight goldfish and one black fish to remove the bad luck. A double goldfish can also bring harmony into your relationship.

3. Keep Three Keys
Is your keychain full of a ton of keys? If it is, that may be the problem with your luck. It’s suggested that you keep three keys as a lucky charm on you: one unlocks wealth, the second unlocks health and the third unlocks love.
4. A Four-Leaf Clover
Although it may be difficult to find as the plant usually grows with only three leaves, the four clovers are thought to represent faith, hope, love and luck. It’s estimated that there are 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every one four-leaf clover.
5. Burn Some Sage
Not only good for luck, burning sage — or smudging — has been said to help with depression, anger and even clearing the bad spirits out of a house. According to SageandWisdom.net, smudging is a “ceremonial way to cleanse a person, place or an object of negative energies or influences.”
6. Get A Lucky Bamboo Plant
Lucky bamboo actually isn’t bamboo at all — it’s Dracaena — but it’s still known to bring good luck. As one of the most popular indoor plants, lucky bamboo is believed to bring happiness and prosperity when kept inside your house or business.
