6 injured, including 3 kids, following Trigg County crash

TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — Six people were reportedly hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Trigg County Sunday afternoon.

According to WKDZ Radio, the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office said an SUV on East Adams Mill Road pulled into the path of another SUV on Cerulean Road, sending both vehicles off the road and into an embankment.

The radio station said the first SUV’s passengers, a woman and two children, were flown from the scene to Nashville hospitals. Meanwhile, the two men driving the SUVs and a child were reportedly taken to local medical centers by Trigg County and Christian County ambulances, with one of them meeting a helicopter that transferred them to a Nashville hospital.

There is no word on the nature of the injuries sustained by those involved in the crash.

Members of Trigg County EMS, Christian County EMS, Cerulean Fire Department, Air Evac Lifeteam, and Trigg County Rescue helped deputies at the scene, WKDZ Radio said.
