55-year-old arrested on trafficking charges after search warrant executed in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The North Alabama Drug Task Force (NADTF) along with a Huntsville Police Department (HPD) SWAT team arrested a man after a warrant was executed on Monday.

HPD said that the warrant was executed in the 2000 block of Reaches Place in Huntsville. As a result of the search, 55-year-old Shawn Douglas Blackman was charged with trafficking fentanyl and trafficking methamphetamine.

Officials said that 24-year-old Destiny Desaray Skipworth was also at the location and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, and possession of synthetic(s).
