Rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is recuperating after being hospitalized following a car accident in New York.
"Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries," a rep for the rapper said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
According to ThisIs50.com - which published photos of Jackson being taken to the hospital on a stretcher wearing a neck brace - the rapper's SUV was rear-ended by a truck on the Long Island Expressway.
Jackson's driver was also reportedly treated for injuries.
Despite his harrowing morning, the rapper is on the mend.
"[Jackson] was released this morning and is doing fine," the rep's statement continued.
