$50,000 lottery ticket sold in Youngsville for Saturday’s Powerball drawing

YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) — One lucky winner in Oregon won the Powerball jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, but there was also a winner in Acadiana.

According to the Louisiana Lottery, a ticket sold in Youngsville matched 4 of the 5 numbers plus the Powerball number to win $50,000. The ticket was sold at the Tobacco Stop at 1000 Youngsville Highway.

That was one of two lucky winners from Louisiana from Saturday’s drawing. A ticket bought in New Orleans also matched four numbers plus the Powerball, winning the $50,000 prize.
