An entire section of KitchenAid's website called the Outlet is devoted to factory-refurbished models. All this means is that they've been used for events like store demonstrations or photo shoots, and sometimes they've got small, cosmetic imperfections. You stand to save $100 or more, which you can put toward something extra, like an attachment or an upgraded bowl.
Track price changes.
You could stare at your computer screen for hours every day, obsessively checking to see if the price of a mixer decreases—or you could continue working and making money to afford said mixer and let someone else do the watching for you.
