5-star Yohan Traore is fourth LSU basketball decommitment since Will Wade fired

Five-star center Yohan Traore decommitted from LSU basketball on Tuesday.

Traore is the No. 15 recruit and No. 4 center in the 2022 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. At 6-foot-10 and 225 pounds, he had been committed to LSU since Jan. 30.

Traore is the third five-star recruit and fourth prospect to decommit from LSU in the last two weeks. Five-star forward Julian Phillips and four-star forward Devin Ree, both from the Class of 2022, were granted releases from their National Letters of Intent last week. Five-star Class of 2023 point guard Marvel Allen decommitted from LSU on Saturday.

Phillips is the No. 12 recruit in the nation, while Ree is ranked at No. 82. Allen is the No. 4 point guard in the 2023 class. Traore's decommitment means that LSU does not have any players committed to its 2022 or 2023 classes.
