Arch watch is over in Athens.

Arch Manning, the No. 1 prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, announced in his first-ever tweet that he has committed to play football at Texas, he tweeted Thursday.

The top-rated quarterback and nephew of Eli and Peyton went on an official visit to Texas this weekend, two weeks after visiting Athens. Manning's teammate at Isidore Newman, 2023 tight end Will Randle, committed to the Longhorns on Sunday.

A three-year starter for Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Manning has thrown for more than 6,300 yards and 81 touchdowns, while rushing for 19 touchdowns.

As of Manning's commitment, UGA still has the No. 5 recruiting class, per 247Sports.
