5 reasons why Chris Hemsworth is MCM-worthy every day

Chris Hemsworth might just be Australia's greatest export. The star of In the Heart of the Sea (now in theatres) is both ridiculously handsome and sweet as can be. His movies have generated millions at the box office, but the down-to-earth Aussie is more concerned about being a good husband and father to his three children.

Fatherhood has changed the 32-year-old star, who tells Parade magazine, "For the first time, it's not about me anymore. It's about them now, their welfare. If I make a film, what is that going to allow us to do? What is it going to give them? That's been really refreshing, I've got to say, because it's so easy to become self-centred, particularly for me in this business."

HE'S A FAMILY MAN
After saying "I do" to Spanish actress Elsa Pataky in 2010, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter India Rose, in 2012. Just shy of two years later their twin boys, Tristan and Sasha, made their arrival. “The biggest thing I’ve learned by having kids is that now I know what love is,” he told Australia’s Daily Life.

HIS TROOP IS NEXT LEVEL
Robert Downey Jr. Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Matt Damon are just a few famous faces that are crazy about Chris. "I'm telling you his superpower is parenting," gushed the Iron Man star about his Avengers co-star during a chat with Entertainment Tonight. "I have never seen anything like it." While Robert is amazed by Chris's parenting skills, his other superhero pal Scarlett thinks he is the full package. The gorgeous actress bestowed the actor with a list of compliments on the red carpet at the 2015 G'Day USA gala. "He's all at once sensitive and ferocious, otherworldly and grounded, is shockingly handsome and is surprisingly approachable," said Scarlett. "He is every man and like no man you've met before. He is versatile despite his physicality, which makes him a grade A movie star."

HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS BROTHERS IS ADORABLE
Chris and his younger brother, Liam Hemsworth, are currently in an Instagram war after the older Hemsworth defaced his brother’s Men’s Health cover. Not one to sit back and take a hit, Liam fired back a picture of his own artwork, giving Chris’s Vanity Fair issue a much-needed makeover. The duo's eldest brother, Luke, is also an actor. While Chris starred on the Aussie soap Home and Away, Luke got his star on Neighbours.

HE HAS THE BIGGEST HEART
Recently, Liam revealed that Chris surprised his parents by paying off their debt. Speaking with The Independent, the Hunger Games actor shared his father’s reaction to the act of kindness, saying, “He called Chris back and said, ‘I don’t know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I’d be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me.’” He is also a passionate advocate for the Australian Childhood Foundation, which works to save children from the trauma of child abuse. To raise money and awareness for the cause, he joined in on ICAP's Charity Day on Dec. 9, which saw the actor taking calls and closing deals at the market operator's New Jersey office.
