5-year-old boy hospitalized after being pulled from pool in Goodyear
A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized Wednesday after being pulled from a swimming pool at a home in Goodyear.
According to the Goodyear Fire Department, at around 3:30 p.m. emergency crews were called to a home near Sarival Avenue and Yuma Road.
Once crews arrived, the boy was pulled from the swimming pool and was treated at the house by paramedics. He was then rushed to a trauma center for treatment and further evaluation.
The current condition of the child was unknown.
