5-month-old infant pronounced dead after being run over by a vehicle in Shawano County

BONDUEL, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Shawano County say a 5-month-old infant is dead after she was run over by a vehicle Wednesday night.

According to a release, multiple deputies, along with officers with the Bonduel Police Department, responded at 5:30 p.m. to a home in Bonduel for reports of an infant being run over by a vehicle.

When authorities arrived the CPR was reportedly in progress on the infant, identified as a 5-month-old girl. Other life-saving measures were also given to the infant before she was airlifted to a hospital in the Green Bay area.

At the hospital, the 5-month-old was reportedly pronounced dead due to the injuries suffered in this incident.

Officials say that all individuals on the scene including the parents of the infant and the driver of the vehicle are fully cooperating with authorities.
