5 firearms seized after search warrant in Oakland

(KRON) – The California Highway Patrol Golden Gate Division Warrant Service Team and the Oakland Police Department collaborated to serve search and arrest warrants on two alleged gang members for a November 2023 shooting on Wednesday.

On Nov. 14, 2023, a 66-year-old East Palo Alto resident driving in a gray Ford F-150 was shot in the left hip on Interstate 580 eastbound. The suspects were identified as 21-year-old Eric Conley and 20-year-old Tayeshawn Cambell, according to authorities. Police said the suspects were Oakland gang members.

Oakland Taco Bell locations shut down indoor dining

Conley was arrested at his San Leandro residence. Cambell was arrested at his residence in Oakland. Five firearms were seized in the search warrants, police said.

Conley and Cambell were arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for attempted murder, discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle and assault with a firearm.
