5 new concerts announced at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg

May 28—Tickets sales for shows at The Palace Theatre in Greensburg are ramping up, officials said, and five more live concerts are set to go on sale next week.

According to an announcement from the Westmoreland Cultural Trust, the shows on sale next week include:

— Gypsy: Celebrating the music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, scheduled for Oct. 16. Trust members can purchase tickets Tuesday while general admission tickets go on sale Thursday.

— The McCartney Years scheduled for Nov. 5. Trust members can purchase tickets Tuesday while general admission tickets go on sale Thursday.

— The New York Bee Gees scheduled for Dec. 3. Trust members can purchase tickets Wednesday while general admission tickets go on sale Friday.

— David Clark's Songs in the Attic: The Music of Billy Joel scheduled for Dec. 17. Trust members can purchase tickets Wednesday while general admission tickets go on sale Friday.

— Resurrection: A Journey Tribute scheduled for Jan. 8. Trust members can purchase tickets Wednesday while general admission tickets go on sale Friday.

According to Jennifer Benford, director of marketing for the Westmoreland Cultural Trust, several in-person shows have been announced over the past several weeks, including REO Speedwagon, who will perform at the Palace on Dec. 6. The first national tour scheduled at the theatre since the pandemic hit is the Happy Together Tour on July 30, she said.

"The shows are really starting to ramp up," Benford said. "Now that we know we can open we're getting a lot of promoters wanting to put some shows on sale."

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. and can be purchased on The Palace Theatre's website, thepalacetheatre.org.
