4G iPad, new Apple TV confirmed

Just as Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage in San Francisco to announce the newest iPad, 9to5Mac snagged details about the upcoming device direct from Apple’s inventory. According to an anonymous tipster, the next iPad (we don’t know the name yet) will come in both white and black, like the iPhone 4/4S. And some models will, in fact, feature “4G” connectivity. In addition, the inventory list notes that a new Apple TV model, as well as a “digital AV adapter” are also in the pipeline.

The listing only says “4G,” but does not mention LTE, so it’s possible that the new iPad will only have HSPA+ connectivity, like the iPhone 4S. (We doubt it — but that is possible.)
