The San Francisco 49ers' new stadium is still under construction, but it's already hosted its first successful Jumbotron marriage proposal.

Scott Onick, a die-hard 49ers fan, was touring Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara with Sarah Cookson, his girlfriend of three years, when he popped the question. Both were wearing hard hats.

"Sarah, you're the only person I want to be with the rest of my life," Onick said, dropping to one knee. "Just like the 49ers are going to the next chapter, this is the perfect place for us to start the next chapter."

Thankfully for Onick, Cookson said yes.

“Oh my God, that’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life," Cookson said after putting on the engagement ring.  She noted, "You were acting so strange."

"I know, I’ve been freaking out," Onick replied.

The proposal was captured in a video posted on the team's website. Onick told Niners Nation that it took two months to arrange a private tour with the stadium committee. He told Cookson that the camera crew that was following them was filming a "marketing video."

The 49ers have not yet announced how much game-day marriage proposals will cost at the new stadium, which is set to open later this year.

At San Francisco's AT&T Park, where the Giants play, marriage proposals cost $145 to $175, depending on the game, according to the SFGate.com.
