Road reopened: I-44 ramp closed, lanes narrowed after crash

Update:

Traffic is flowing again after a wreck Friday morning.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A vehicle accident is slowing traffic on I-44 Friday morning.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the I-44 ramp is closed at SH-152 and I-44 lanes are narrowed at SW 59th St. due to the crash.

According to ODOT:

  • The SH-152 off-ramp to westbound I-44 (runs south) is closed

  • The westbound I-44 on-ramp from S.W. 44th St. is closed

  • Westbound I-44 (runs south) is narrowed to one lane but drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route and avoid this area.

Drivers should find an alternate route as the closures are expected to last several hours.
