42 graduate from Lake Center Christian School

HARTVILLE – The 42 members of Lake Center Christian School’s Class of 2023 traveled in May to Springfield, Ohio, for its commencement ceremony.

The school’s 17th graduating class conducted its exercises at Maranatha Bible Church in Springfield.

During the service, school leadership hailed the students’ academic achievements and service  as spiritual leaders.

Commencement speaker was Scott Goodspeed, retired CEO of Hilscher-Clarke Electric; chairman of the Lake Center School Board of Trustees; and a parent of a 2023 LCCS graduate.

Goodspeed challenged the graduates to “be strong and courageous” in how they live and lead. He also urged them to be unwavering in their commitment to be lifelong followers and servants of Christ.

“This dark world needs the salt and light you have to give and the love of Jesus you reflect,” Goodspeed told the graduates.
