41-year-old man arrested in relation to the fentanyl overdose of a 2-year-old in Freedom

(WFRV) – Authorities say a 41-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the death of a two-year-old in Freedom who was determined to have died back in January due to a fentanyl overdose.

According to a release from the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Faheem W. Jones was arrested on Monday, February 26, in Milwaukee and taken to the Outagamie County Jail where he’s being held on multiple charges relating to the fentanyl overdose of a 2-year-old child.

The charges Jones is being held on include the following:

  • Possession with intent to deliver fentanyl (>50)

  • Possession of a firearm by a felon

  • Receive stolen property – firearm

  • Possession with intent to deliver – THC = <200g

  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Along with the charges, Officials say Jones is also being held on a $250,000 cash bond. The mother of the two-year-old child was previously arrested and has made multiple appearances in court as she faces charges of Neglecting a Child (Consequence is death), Possesses Illegal Article, and Possession of Narcotic Drugs.
