This 4-Pound Carrot Cake From Costco Is All You Need for the Sweetest Easter Ever

Welcome to 2019: The year of edible bouquets, unicorns, and obscenely large foods.

Costco, the superstore that gave us 3-pound lobster claws and popcorn bags the size of a toddler, is once again offering a 4-pound carrot cake—just in time for Easter.

For about $14 (depending on location) you can get not two, not three, but four whole pounds of carrot cake goodness.

The behemoth measures 10 inches in diameter, is filled with apricot and toasted walnuts, iced with cream cheese frosting, and coated in carrot cake crumbs.

Costco fans took to social media to express their excitement about the returning favorite.

“Mom I’ve got dessert covered for Easter weekend with the fam,” wrote Instagram user @thecostcoconnoisseur. “I cannot wait to try this new Carrot Walnut Cake from Costco! Featuring an apricot filling and cream cheese icing topped with carrot cake crumbs & toasted walnuts.”

If you’re a bit intimidated by Costco’s massive Easter dessert (understandable), don’t worry. We’ve got plenty of delicious—and reasonably sized—carrot cake recipes to choose from.
