Four MRT lines and 35 bus services to be extended on eve of Good Friday in Singapore

North-South, East-West, Circle and Thomson-East Coast lines, as well as 22 SBS and 13 SMRT bus services, will end later

SINGAPORE — SMRT and SBS Transit announced on Thursday (14 March) that train services on the North-South Line, East-West Line, Circle Line and Thomson-East Coast Line, as well as selected bus services, will be extended on the eve of Good Friday (28 March).

Here are the timings for last train departures:

  • North-South and East-West Lines - departing from City Hall, and terminating at Jurong East, Marina South Pier, Pasir Ris and Tuas Link (12.30am).

  • Circle Line - terminating at HarbourFront: 11.43pm, terminating at Dhoby Ghaut: 11.27pm.

  • Thomson-East Coast Line - terminating at Gardens by the Bay: 12.02am, terminating at Woodlands North: 12.25am.

  • North East Line (NEL) - departing from HarbourFront, and terminating at Punggol MRT station: 12.30am. The last train in the other direction will leave at 12.02am.

  • Downtown Line - departing from Bukit Panjang, and terminating at Expo station: 12.03am. The last train in the opposite direction will leave at 12.04am.

SMRT said that due to temporary service adjustments for rail expansion works on the Circle Line, commuters travelling to and from HarbourFront station will need to make a transfer at Labrador Park. Last train service timings on the North East Line (NEL) and Downtown Line will remain as per usual.

There will be no extension for the Bukit Panjang LRT and Changi Airport services. The Sengkang-Punggol LRT will also run until after the last NEL trains arrive at the respective town centre stations.

Last bus services and timings

In addition to the extension of train services, the operating hours of the following bus services will also be extended:

  • Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange: 300, 301, 302, 307, 983A (1.40am)

  • Bus stop opposite Choa Chu Kang station: 974A (1.40am)

  • Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub: 901, 911, 912A, 912B, 913 (1.25am)

  • Bukit Panjang Interchange: 920, 922, 973A (1.25am)

  • Bedok Interchange: 222, 225G, 228, 229 (1am)

  • Bishan Interchange: 410W (1.05am)

  • Serangoon Interchange: 315 (1.05am)

  • Boon Lay Interchange: 181, 240, 241, 243G (1.20am)

  • Eunos Interchange: 60A, 63M (12.55am)

  • Toa Payoh Interchange: 232, 238 (12.55am)

  • Hougang Central Interchange: 325 (1.10am)

  • Buangkok Station Exit B bus stop: 114A (1.10am)

  • Tampines Interchange: 291, 292, 293 (1.10am)

  • Yishun Interchange: 804, 812 (1.35am)
