4 New Mexico pueblos receive funding for housing initiatives
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development announced the allocation of nearly $70 million to 38 tribal communities. The Indian Community Development Block Grant program enhances housing, living standards, and economic opportunities for low-income tribal families.
New Mexico History Museum to host free community event at the Palace of the Governors
The regional administrator of HUD came to Albuquerque to announce the multi-million dollar federal funding for tribal partners in New Mexico. Funding is for various tribes across America but here in New Mexico, the Ohkay Owingeh, San Felipe, San Ildefonso, and Santa Clara pueblos will be getting $2 million each.
