4 juveniles lead police on vehicle pursuit, BPD says

Jul. 31—Four juveniles in a stolen vehicle who led Bakersfield Police officers on a chase Saturday night eventually fled from the vehicle and were arrested.

Officers went to a report of a vehicle that had been stolen in the area of Robinson and Jefferson streets at about 10:09 p.m., according to a BPD news release.

Police found the vehicle, but its driver would not yield, starting the pursuit. The vehicle stopped in the 600 block of Monterey Street, where the juveniles fled.

They were found and arrested on suspicion of charges associated with possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest and conspiracy, BPD said.
