The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said on March 7 around midnight, deputies and officers with Athens Police responded to Athens-Limestone Hospital where an unknown dead man, later identified as Parks was delivered.

The person who transported him to the hospital had none of his identifying info and advised hospital staff that they found him on the side of the road, according to LCSO.

Investigators identified a suspect vehicle and later located the vehicle at a known drug house on Huntsville Brownsferry Road.

At the house, LCSO said they detained ten individuals, and Townson was identified as a person of interest for Parks’s death.

Townson is being held without bond in the Limestone County Jail without bond pending an Aniah’s Law hearing. More charges may be filed, LCSO added.
