39,240 Russian troops have been killed in Ukraine, reports General Staff

  • Personnel – about 39,240 (+240);

  • Tanks – 1,708 (+4);

  • Armored combat vehicles – 3,929 (+9);

  • Artillery systems – 864 (+1);

  • Multiple launch rocket systems – 253 (+2);

  • Air defense systems – 113 (+0);

  • Aircraft – 221 (+0);

  • Helicopters – 188 (+0);

  • UAVs – 714 (+1);

  • Cruise missiles – 167 (+0);

  • Ships / boats – 15 (+0);

  • Motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 2,820 (+17);

  • Specialized equipment – 72 (+0).

Russia controls most of Luhansk and Kherson oblasts, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to halt Russian advances into Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Counter-offensives are planned in the Kharkiv and Kherson oblasts.
