36 Russian personnel behind Kinzhal missile attacks on Ukraine identified
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) operatives have identified 36 Russians involved in Kinzhal missile strikes on Ukraine, as stated on their website on May 11.
The full list includes 29 command, flight and technical personnel of the 44th Separate Aviation Regiment of the Russian Aerospace Forces' Special Purpose Long-Range Aviation and seven officers from the regiment's technical staff.

The 44th Regiment was formed on Dec. 1, 2021. Its permanent location is the Savasleyka airfield in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, according to the military intelligence.
The regiment has a two-squadron structure with up to 24 aircraft, namely MiG-31K long-range fighter interceptors.
Ukrainian intelligence officers also established the tail numbers of MiG-31K aircraft from the regiment: RF-20862, RF-03230, RF-20882, RF-03231, RF-03234, RF-19275, RF-94268, RF-42251, RF-42253, RF-20867, RF-20883.
These aircraft are carriers of the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile. The missile's warhead weighs 500 kg and can carry a nuclear charge. The purpose of these missiles is to deliver the fastest possible strikes at a distance of up to 2,000 km.
The missile's hypersonic flight speed at the final stage is achieved by accelerating the carrier aircraft to supersonic parameters (i.e., the MiG-31K acts as the missile's "first stage").
"There will be a just retribution for every war crime committed against Ukraine," the HUR said.
