3 teens arrested after shots fired in Socorro

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Three teens were arrested for alleged deadly conduct on Wednesday, March 21 after shots were fired in the direction of a residence in Socorro, according to the Socorro Police Department.

The Socorro Police says that about 7:03 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of Apodaca Road and Trejo Road in reference to shots being fired in the direction of a residence.

Officers arrived at the scene and observed three males subjects running away from the area, according to the Socorro Police.

The Socorro Police says Derek Xavier Gonzalez, Dante Puertas and Edmundo Justin Vizcaya, all age 17, were located at a nearby residence and were arrested for deadly conduct.

The teens were booked into the County Jail. Gonzalez faces a $50,000 bond, Puertas faces a $25,000 bond and Vizcaya faces a $30,000 bond.
