3 shot in car-to-car shooting on Highway 99 at Ming
Oct. 30—Three men shot during a car-to-car shooting on southbound Highway 99 south of Ming Avenue on Saturday night were taken to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The initial investigation showed that four men were in a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV at about 8:55 p.m. when the driver was struck by gunfire, crashed into the center divider then veered back to the right shoulder, a CHP news release said.
There is no suspect information. All southbound lanes were closed for several hours during the investigation.
