3 with serious injuries form Wendover Road crash: Medic

CHARLOTETE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Three people have life-threatening or serious injuries from a car crash in southeast Charlotte Friday evening.

According to Medic, the incident occurred just after 6 p.m. in the 500 block of Wendover Road in the Grier Heights area. Initially one person was transported with life-threatening injuries, then two more were taken to area hospitals, one with life-threatening and the other with serious injuries.

Two cars were involved in the crash, a sedan and a four-door pickup truck.

Three people were transported to the hospital from this incident.

Eastbound Wendover Road is backed up to Randolph Road from the accident.
