3 people killed, 1 injured in Osceola County wreck, FHP says

Three people were killed and one person received minor injuries in a head-on collision in Osceola County Saturday morning, authorities say.

According to a crash report, a 32-year-old Bartow man was traveling east on U.S. Highway 192, approaching Four Winds Boulevard, when he “crossed over into oncoming traffic” and collided with another sedan at 10:45 a.m.

Everyone in the second car — a 71-year-old man, a 65-year-old woman and a 78-year-old woman — were killed, a crash report said. They were each from Kissimmee.

Their next of kin have not been notified of their deaths as of Saturday evening, according to FHP.

The driver of the first vehicle suffered only minor injuries.

A portion of U.S. Highway 192 near the site of the wreck remained closed in both directions for much of the day.

“This investigation is on-going and will be in depth in nature,” a crash report said.
