1 dead, 2 injured after shooting in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) – The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said two people were injured after a shooting in the early hours of Sunday.

Police said that at about 1:55 am, they responded to the 6300 block of Marlboro Pike for a shooting.

Crews battle fire in Northeast DC

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man inside a car who had been shot.

He died at the scene.

A second man who had been shot was found nearby. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Another woman was also found injured – she had not been shot, however. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
