3 people injured after Highway 30 crash near Pleasant Grove

Jun. 30—PLEASANT GROVE TOWNSHIP — A two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 30 near Pleasant Grove Township on Tuesday morning left three people hospitalized.

Mary Agnes Ferreter, 67, of Racine, Minn., was driving a 2005 Hyundai Tucson eastbound on Highway 30, and Velida Mahalbasic, 53, of Waterloo, Iowa, was driving a 2011 Chevy Malibu northbound on Olmsted County Road 1 when the two vehicles collided at 8:19 a.m., according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Three people were taken to Saint Marys Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including Ahmet Mahalbasic, 66, of Waterloo, who was riding with Velida. One person was transported by Mayo One.

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, Stewartville Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance also responded to the scene.
