Police services in three different Saskatchewan cities reported separate fatal vehicle-pedestrian collisions in the past week.

The deadly collisions took place in Regina, Saskatoon and Yorkton.

The Regina Police Service (RPS) said it received a report of a vehicle hitting a man at the intersection of Robinson Street and 7th Avenue at approximately 2:25 p.m. on Monday.

The man had already died from his injuries by the time police and paramedics arrived at the scene, RPS said. Police did not provide details on his identity or age

RPS said the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene and the occupants were taken into custody, but it is undetermined what charges, if any, will be laid. Anyone with information on the collision is asked to contact RPS or Crime Stoppers.

The Saskatoon Police Service said officers were called to the area of Circle Drive West and 22nd Street West at around 12:00 a.m on Saturday for a report of a collision between a vehicle and male pedestrian.

SPS said officers and paramedics found the man suffering from life-threatening injuries upon arrival. The man was declared dead at the scene following life-saving efforts. No details have been shared about his age or identity.

Saskatoon police said its investigation in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service is ongoing.

Yorkton RCMP said its officers responded to a pedestrian-involved collision on Wednesday near the intersection of Highway #10 and Queen Street at about 10:10 p.m.

Paramedics declared the 41-year-old man from Waywayseecappo, Manitoba, dead at the scene, RCMP said.

RCMP said the driver remained at the scene.

Yorkton RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
