ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the three-mile back-up on Interstate 81 South in Roanoke County has been cleared.

All traffic has resumed normal activity.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation says there is currently a vehicle accident on Interstate 81 South near mile marker 138.6 in Roanoke County.

Both southbound lanes are currently closed. Traffic is backed up around 3 miles. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
