3 men arrested for attempting to drop contraband at Washington State Prison, authorities say

DAVISBORO, Ga. (WJBF) – Three men are behind bars after allegedly attempting to drop various illegal items into the Washington State Prison.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, on March 5th the Davisboro Police Department requested assistance from deputies for a ‘suspicious person’ call within the city of Davisboro.

As deputies responded, they were given a lookout for two vehicles. They were able to find and stop both vehicles.

After further investigation, it was found that the occupants were attempting to make a contraband drop at the prison in Davisboro.

Lamarion Deandrea Weems, age 37, of Morrow, Georgia; Timmie Darold Cobb, age 44, of Rex, Georgia; and Toddrick Raymond Williams, age 22, of Atlanta, Georgia were all arrested.

All are charged with the following:

  1. Crossing Guardline without Consent of Warden

  2. Use of Unmanned Aircraft to Accomplish Violations

  3. Items Prohibited for Possession by Inmates

  4. Trading with Inmates

  5. Trafficking in Marijuana

  6. Trafficking in (MDMA)

  7. Possession of Schedule II Drug (Oxycodone) with Intent to Distribute

  8. Racketeering

  9. Conspiracy to Commit a Crime

The amounts of illegal drugs confiscated from this incident are estimated below:

  • 15 pounds of marijuana

  • 10 pounds of tobacco

  • 70 grams of ecstasy

  • 10 grams of oxycodone scheduled II
