At 12:09 a.m. Thursday morning, MPD responded to a triple shooting at the intersection of 10th St. and Spring Rd. NW. A woman and a teenage boy were taken to a hospital while conscious and breathing. A third victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Minutes later at 12:34 a.m., officers were called to the 4500 block of Sheriff Rd. NE. There, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Residents in Northwest say they are fearful.

One man had his car towed away because it was struck by bullets.

“Emotionally, I’m a wreak,” says car owners Noble Bonds. “I mean, every night when I have to walk my dog, I’m fearful. I’m kind of scared. I’m going to use the word ‘scared’ because I am. I thought this would be a peaceful neighborhood. I’m a new resident. I’m moved in here in June of last year. So, this is shocking.”

MPD’s homicide branch is investigating all three shootings. Police have not released any information regarding any suspects.
