3 injured, including teen, in shooting in Chicago’s Gage Park

CHICAGO — Three individuals were injured, including a 14-year-old boy, in a shooting in the city’s Gage Park neighborhood Thursday night.

According to police, officers responded to a call of shots fired near the 3200 block of West 55th Street around 9:07 p.m. Thursday night and found a 27-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

He was transported to Christ Hospital where he is listed in good condition.

A 14-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder and is listed in critical condition at Comer Children’s Hospital. A 39-year-old man was also shot in the wrist and transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where he is listed in fair condition.

There is currently no one in custody. WGN is actively following this story.
