3 injured in Highway 56 crash in Goodhue County

Mar. 29—DENNISON, Minn. — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday, March 28, 2024, in Goodhue County.

A 2018 Honda CRV was eastbound on Goodhue County Road 9 when it collided with a 2017 Volkswagon Jetta driving northbound on Minnesota Highway 56 around 7:30 a.m., according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report.

The driver of the Volkswagon, Mark Thomas McNamara, 43, of Kenyon, Minnesota, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Honda, Barbara Ann Medina-Tiller, 58, of Adams, Minnesota, was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys with non-life threatening injuries.

A passenger in the Honda, Madelline Marie Biwer, 21, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was also transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys with non-life threatening injuries.

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
