LOS ANGELES (AP) — Prosecutors have charged a fugitive with the kidnapping of a 10-year-old Los Angeles girl and numerous counts of sexual assault.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office revealed the charges against 32-year-old Tobias Summers after earlier announcing charges against co-defendant Daniel Martinez, who is in custody.

Summers is charged with kidnapping a minor under age 14 and nearly three dozen counts of sexual assault. If captured and convicted, he faces multiple life terms in prison.

Martinez is accused of waiting outside in a car when Summers emerged from the house with the girl, and driving a short distance away.
