29-year-old Fond du Lac woman dies, man injured in crash between motorcycle and semi

FOND DU LAC – A 29-year-old woman died, and another person was injured, in a town of Fond du Lac crash May 15.

At about 5:09 p.m., a semitrailer and a motorcycle were involved in the crash on County Highway OO at Rolling Meadows Drive, according to a news release from Wisconsin State Patrol.

Investigators believe the semitrailer was traveling west on the county road and turned left in front of a motorcycle that was traveling east.

The motorcycle's passenger died in the incident, and the driver, a 30-year-old Fond du Lac man, was taken to a local hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening. Wisconsin State Patrol identified the woman who died in the crash as 29-year-old Anjelynn Mikayla Breister of Fond du Lac.

The driver of the semi was a 33-year-old Ripon man.

North Fond du Lac Police Department, Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, North Fond du Lac Fire and EMS, Town of Fond du Lac Fire and Fond du Lac County Communications Center assisted at the scene.

Wisconsin State Patrol is still investigating the crash, and no other details were released.
