$24K in Victoria’s Secret underwear stolen in Virginia; Fairfax County police make arrests

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Police said they arrested three men accused of stealing more than $24,000 in merchandise, most of it Victoria’s Secret underwear.

The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said its Tysons Urban Team (TUT) picked up the crew on Wednesday. Police said they received word that the men were in the 1900 block of Chain Bridge Rd. near Tysons Corner Center. Two of the men were in the shopping center, and one was outside when officers caught up with him.

The group supposedly stole the underwear from areas including Prince William County. FCPD said when the urban team searched the men’s vehicle, they found the merchandise connected to recent thefts in Prince William County.

The men were arrested were:

  • Felix Perez, 57, of New Jersey

  • Amauri Roman Sanabia Balbuena, 44, of New Jersey

  • Jonathan Peralta Cabrera, 38, of New York

Detectives said it appeared that the group was involved with other organized retail thefts in the region and planned to sell the items out of state.

As of Friday, all three men were in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where they were held without bond.
