5 teens ejected, 1 killed in rollover crash on I-225 near Alameda Avenue

DENVER (KDVR) — Five teens were ejected from a car in a rollover crash Saturday, sending multiple to the hospital and killing one.

Aurora police responded just after 7:30 a.m. on Saturday to a single-vehicle rollover crash on northbound Interstate 225 between Mississippi Avenue and Alameda Avenue.

The Aurora Police Department told FOX31 that five teens were inside the vehicle, which was stolen, and unopened alcohol containers were found inside. All occupants were ejected from the car.

Four were transported to the hospital, and APD said Saturday evening that a 15-year-old girl had been killed in the crash. One was checked out on scene and released by medics.
