The 22 summer signings yet to play a single minute of Premier League football
The early closure of the Premier League transfer window means summer signings have been available for all four of the opening games this season.
We have seen Richarlison score three goals in his first two games for Everton, then get sent off in his last, Jorginho look at home in Chelsea’s midfield and Spurs new man…oh, wait.
But life at a new club is not always easy and there are plenty of Premier League new boys yet to get their first taste of the English top-flight.

Whether that is through injury or simply the manager’s decision, 22 players are yet to make their Premier League debut and Yahoo Sport has looked at the reasons why.
Arsenal
Bernd Leno – Yet to usurp Petr Cech as Arsenal’s No.1, but feels like a matter of time before the German establishes himself as Unai Emery’s first choice stopper.
Brighton
Florin Andone – A groin injury has kept him out so far, although Glenn Murray is in undroppable territory currently.
David Button – Signed as a second choice keeper, so unless Matty Ryan picks up an injury, you can expect Button to stay on this list.
Cardiff
Greg Cunningham – Yet to get off the bench in the league, but he has made a Carabao Cup start.
Chelsea
Rob Green – No explanation needed.
Crystal Palace
Vicente Guaita – Battling with Wayne Hennessey for the starting spot between the sticks, the free transfer will fancy his chances at getting a game soon.
Everton
Yerry Mina – Injured at the moment, so Everton fans are yet to get a glimpse of their £28.5m central defender
Andre Gomes – Like his former Barcelona and current Everton team-mate Mina, Gomes is not fit yet, so he has not pulled on the famous blue shirt.
Fulham
Sergio Rico – Fabri and Marcus Bettinelli – now an England player – have had two games each in goal, but Rico is still waiting in the wings.
Huddersfield
Juninho Bacuna – Got his only chance in the Carabao Cup and marked it with a truly spectacular own goal!
Liverpool
Fabinho – £43.7m and still no football for the Brazilian, although Klopp suggested it’s only a matter of time once the international break is finished.
Leicester
Caglar Soyuncu – Had an injury when he signed from Freiburg, so has been restricted to an U23 appearance and that is it as he continues to recover.
Danny Ward – Liverpool’s third choice becomes Leicester’s second choice and the chances of taking Kasper Schmeichel’s place are slim.
Manchester City
Philippe Sandler – Who? An unheralded signing, currently injured.
Manchester United
Lee Grant – Despite not playing, Grant is seemingly United’s second choice, not their third, so it can’t all be bad news.
Diogo Dalot – The young full-back was one of only three signings and he made a PL2 appearance last week, having had an injury issue throughout August.
Southampton
Angus Gunn – Highly-rated young English keeper who is currently behind another highly-rated English keeper in the pecking order. Happy to bide his time.
Watford
Marc Navarro – The full-back has been restricted to one EFL Cup appearance, and given Watford’s form that might not change soon.
Ben Wilmot – An 18-year-old who was wanted by Spurs and Arsenal, the former Stevenage player is one for the future, despite his Carabao Cup appearance.
Adam Masina – Another full-back who joined in the summer and is yet to feature – at least he has made the squad.
Domingos Quina – West Ham youngster who made a deadline day switch – he scored a stunner in the Carabao Cup but a way off the Premier League squad, you’d expect.
Wolves
Leander Dendoncker – Wolves believe the Belgian midfielder needs time to adapt to the physicality and speed of the Premier League, so we wait.
