Fog notwithstanding, San Francisco was a wonderful place to be on Wednesday, three days after the Giants completed their World Series sweep of the Detroit Tigers.
Hundreds of thousands of fans came out to line Market Street and gather at City Hall for the city's second Series victory parade in three years.

In 2010, however, Instagram wasn't the go-to app to filter the day's best moments. (The service had only just been launched on October 6, 2010, less than a month before the last World Series parade in San Fran.)
This time around, fans used the photo sharing app -- which was built just blocks from the Giants' home ballpark -- to take pictures of their favorite players, document the celebration and photograph one another.
