2024 Heart Walk is saving lives on the Northshore
COVINGTON, La. (WGNO) — The American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk is happening Saturday, May 11 in Covington.
According to event organizers, the Heart Walk is a great way for people of all ages to come together and bring awareness to heart health.

Participants in this year’s event are doing more than just walking.
According to the American Heart Association, you will also be contributing to life-saving science that will help those who are at risk of heart disease and strokes.
This year’s event will take place at the Covington Trailhead, located at 419 North New Hampshire St.
Check-in starts at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.
