2024 Clarke, Monroe and Washington County Primary Election Results
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The 2024 Primary Election Results are in for Washington, Clarke and Monroe County.

Clarke County
Clarke County Commission, District 2 (R)
Jackie Ray Rush, with 72.81% of the vote, handily defeated Marc Prescott with 27.19%
Clarke County Board of Education, District 1 (R)
Sherry Barnes, with 73.61% of the vote, led by a large margin over Jake Faust, with 26.39%
Monroe County
Monroe County Board of Education, District 3
Brian Harrison led with 47.96% of the vote, but he didn’t secure a majority, as Justin House received 31.02% and Cody Cumbie received 21.01%. Therefore, he will face a runoff with House.
The Three Mill County-wide School Tax Sections 1 and 2, Three Mill County-wide School Tax District 2, and One Mill County-Wide School Tax measures passed, with 69.76%, 69.41%, 68.42% and 69.26%, respectively.
Washington County
Washington County District 1 (R) County Commission, 100% reporting
Tony Odom, 43.66%, faces a runoff with Chris Murphy, 29.43%
Washington County District 3 (R) County Commission, 100% reporting
Daniel Smith, 41.18%, faces a runoff with William Beasley, 39.14%
Washington County Board of Education, District 4 (R)
Robert Crouch, 66.20%, handily defeated Keith Beech, 33.80%
Washington County Board of Education, District 5 (R)
Stanton Hendry, 59.42%, defeated Lonnie Guy, 40.58%
