The automaker introduces two highly competitive SUVs in the most popular segments, and rolls out a confidence-inspiring 6-year/72,000-mile, fully transferrable bumper-to-bumper warranty plan for all models except the e-Golf electric car. The aged CC and Touareg models are discontinued.

Passat GT arrives mid-year, accompanied by a sport suspension, reduced ride height, 19-inch aluminum wheels, custom-tuned exhaust, blacked-out exterior trim, red brake calipers, and carbon fiber-style interior trim
New Driver’s Assistance Package makes key driver assistance and collision avoidance systems available on base S trim level, and for an exceptionally reasonable price. They are standard on all other versions of the Passat
